Martin OO-18 Prewar Double O - Weighs 3.39 lbs 1941
1941 Martin OO-18
You certainly don't see these often. This little fellow is in really very good shape considering its 80+ year old life. It was built prior to the bombing of Pearl Harbor which of course bestows prewar status.
Very intact and unbelievably open-sounding. The belly bridge may be a new replacement (in the last 30 years) and the ferrules/bushing around the original tuners are new nickel replacements as most of the old ones had long since fallen out.
A bugger on the side which is stable if not pretty (shown).
A real joy to play, let me know if you'd like a sound clip of this little gem.
Weighs a mere 3.39 pounds
In a 70s Martin case.
