1968 Gibson L-5. The iconic, archetypical jazz archtop guitar.

This pretty guitar has some wear but still looks lovely and plays fantastically.

The stunning curly back looks to me to be Red Maple.

Equipped with a USA made Kent Armstrong Slimbucker which brings out it's sweet dark amplified tone perfectly.

The bridge is a custom made ebony saddle sitting atop the original brazilian bridge stand (original saddle will be included). The current saddle was carved specifically to improve the intonation.

New correct pickguard with volume and tone thumbwheels under the outside edge.

Sound sample(s) can be made available to serious buyers.

As can be seen in the photos, there are pick marks on the top and numerous small dings etc. (consult the listing photos).

More photos can be provided as well.

Please ask specific questions as they come up.

W/ later era Gibson case.
