This extremely musical guitar is Eastman's flagship 16" archtop. The 900 series upgrades are all evident here. The best wood, blonde lacquer finish, ebony appointments, etc.
This flawlessly crafted guitar is in excellent condition. It is, without doubt THE best 805/905 to come through the shop in the last 12-13 years, and I've had quite a few. It is resonant, effortless to play, and has the best amplified tone of any Eastman with a Johnny Smith type suspended pick up to come through the shop in a very long time. Big, broad meaty tone. Has a bloom on the notes that is so appealing. Acoustic tone is very crisp and clean.
