D'Angelico EXL-1 Throwback - Viola / Wine - RARE - Limited Edition
2020 D'Angelico Throwback in EXCELLENT condition.
This beautiful axe doesn't seem to have been played too much. Very slight fret wear.
D'A only made these Limited Run guitars for about a year or so around 2019 -2020+/-. They are becoming very hard to find.
As I say, this guitar doesn't seem to have been played much at all. No real fret wear worth mentioning.
These are simply outstanding jazz guitars for comparatively very little money. Well-made, fantastically easy-playing and with supremely comfortable necks, really good pickup that yields a really nice round jazz tone. And, they are spectacular to behold. The oversized early 20th century type big-block MOP inlays are spellbinding; they are simply fiery in the light and make a grand statement. With D'Aquisto style F-holes.
Ebony appointments including the pick guard and head plate.
It is simply stunning to look at.
In the auto-world, this is the equivalent of the very highest-end Toyota or Honda and has the corresponding high-level reliability and function.
W/ D'A hardshell case that is in very good condition
Note: I have reinstalled the stair-step deco gold truss rod cover so the guitar will be all original.
