1947 Gibson L7. Doesn't seem to have been played much judging from the frets and fingerboard.
The back has been off and reinstalled professionally and is very well done, extremely tight.
Aftermarket correct tailpiece, and with a new bridge.
The pick guard ebony glue block which screws into the treble side of the neck (last photo) is included so the new owner can install a guard if so desired. Not much fret wear on the original frets (see pic).
Neck joint solid as a rock and the neck angle and truss rod are great.
Scratches and dings but the finish is still very glossy without much crazing.
Great sounding L7 from the golden era of Gibson archtops.
Non original case.
This is a really nice axe. GREAT PUs. Plays fantastically.
