Hamer USA 2000s
Really nice Hamer which I am being told is from 2005 which apparently makes it one of the last American-made Hamers and I am also being told that Hamer didn't cease operations until 2012. I don't know and am not a Hamer archivist so you decide. I do know it is American made and is an extremely sweet playing and sounding axe that is lightweight and resonant.
OK. I have been contacted by 3 Hamer 'Experts' and all 3 have given me a different date ranging from 2000 to late 2000. There you have it.
Looks to be in original condition with slight fret wear. Someone is insisting the tuners are not original. OK. Fine. They are very high quality, perfect-fitting locking tuners so I am not getting tied in a knot about that.
I looked at the wiring and it is extremely clean and looks factory to me.
The PUs appear to be original equipment but again, how would one know?
Comes with original Hamer case and weighs 6.5 lbs.
